GRADE 7: This Is My Beloved Son—Jesus Christ
The word Incarnation refers to the fact that the Second Person of the Trinity became man. Jesus is God made flesh. The Incarnation means that between God and us there is now a mediator, who is Emmanuel, “God with us.” As the Son of God, Jesus can speak for God. As man, Jesus can speak for us. Jesus became man so that he could live among us and be our Savior. In doing so, he taught us what it means to be truly human. Jesus is the great educator in humanity. From him we can learn the most important things we need to know in order to be truly alive.

Dear Parents – We hope you will love the experience of passing along your faith to your child and perhaps deepen your own understanding of it as well. In order to help you do this, we recommend that before you download the lesson plan for each session, take a few minutes just for yourself – to clear your mind of the many worries and distractions that are part of being a parent. We recommend this 3-Minute Retreat as a terrific way to do this – it really works and it is really only 3-minutes long!
