GRADE 4: Blessed Are the Poor—Beatitudes & The Ten Commandments
The Beatitudes are at the heart of Jesus’ preaching. They reveal how Jesus calls us to live, describe specific ways that we can live to be happy and to build up God’s kingdom, and describe the final destination to which Jesus calls us. The Beatitudes fulfill the promises of the Old Testament. We believe that God presented the Ten Commandments to Moses atop Mount Sinai. They call us to believe in one God and remind us of the importance of God above all human actions and concerns.

Dear Parents – We hope you will love the experience of passing along your faith to your child and perhaps deepen your own understanding of it as well. In order to help you do this, we recommend that before you download the lesson plan for each session, take a few minutes just for yourself – to clear your mind of the many worries and distractions that are part of being a parent. We recommend this 3-Minute Retreat as a terrific way to do this – it really works and it is really only 3-minutes long!
Parents! Rather than forwarding your child’s session review results to us by email, use our New! Homeschool form to submit and keep track of the work he or she has completed.
