To learn how to use your YOUCAT, read the “Instructions for Use” on the first page. Every question in the YOUCAT has a number which appears in a yellow circle next to each question. At the back of the YOUCAT (starting on page 288) is the Subject Index, where you can look up information by subject or person. Please note that on pages 288-297, the numbers beside each entry in the Subject Index refer to question numbers in the YOUCAT, not page numbers. However, under the “Definitions” section on pages 298-299 the numbers next to the terms refer to page numbers. Yes, this is confusing, which is why we encourage you to take some time to explore the book and ask for help if you have any questions.
YOUCAT Questions:
In preparation for each class session, you are expected to complete the YOUCAT assignment due that day, print it out, and bring the answers with you to class. It is very important that you bring both your Bible and YOUCAT to the sessions as well. The YOUCAT questions will be collected at the end of each session. Students who fall more than two sessions behind in completing their YOUCAT assignments risk being withdrawn from the program. All YOUCAT Questions must be completed and turned in by April 30th.
Directions:
You must be logged into the site in order to print your homework for class. To do this, click the words “Log In” that appear on the far right of the top menu bar and enter your username and password at the prompt. If you do not know your username or password, use the PDF link on each form to download and print a hard copy of the questions to complete on paper and bring to class. At that point, you may ask Mrs. Memmo about your username and password for next time.
After logging in, use the links below to take you to the online forms that contain the questions you need to complete for each session. After completing all of the questions, click the “Submit” button. This will send us an email with a copy of your responses and will also generate a summary page that you must print and bring to class. To print the summary page, click on the Print icon that appears at the bottom of the page. WARNING: Do not navigate away from the summary page before printing your responses as they will be lost. If you do not have a printer, please contact us before coming to class. (NOTE: Listed below is a link to a PDF version of the questions if you prefer to print them and fill them out on paper.)
