Vacation Bible School 2014

Vacation Bible School registration was an overwhelming success. We registered nearly 100 children in the first 90 minutes! We regret having to turn so many people away and are considering expanding the program next year to accommodate more children if the demand is high enough – so please call our office and have your name put our waiting list. That way, we can get a sense of how many families would like to participate if given the opportunity.

Registration – June 2nd & 3rd
for the week of
July 14 – 18, 9 am – 12 noon

This year, we joined Moses and the  Israelites as they Crossed the Red Sea, ate manna & quail, defeated the Amalekites, remembered Passover, and received the Ten Commandments – all in one week!  No 40 years of wandering needed for this exciting Biblical adventure.  As members of one of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, the children learned straight from the well-known Bible hero—Moses! They also discovered firsthand what it was like to live in the Israelite camp, and enjoyed games, music, crafts, and manna. It was fabulous!

We would like to thank all of our hard working volunteers who helped make our Vacation Bible School experience a huge success.  This includes the “Ladies in Pink” who kept our food court running and all our terrific tribe leaders, marketplace workers and games organizers. A special thanks goes out to our most excellent Moses & his “whiner” sidekick. L’Chaim!
