Jesse Tree Ornaments: Grade 6

JesseTreeThe Jesse Tree represents the family tree, or genealogy of Jesus Christ. It tells the story of God’s salvation plan, beginning with creation and continuing through the Old Testament, to the coming of the Messiah. The name comes from Isaiah 11:1, “But a shoot shall sprout from the stump of Jesse, and from his roots a bud shall blossom.”

Look for the Jesse Tree filled with ornaments colored by the sixth graders in Church this week and feel free to take one home with you after Mass has ended.
